Rearranging words/ sentences adalah materi bahasa Inggris tingkat SMP. Rearranging artinya menata ulang yaitu menyusun kata-kata menjadi sebuah kalimat atau menyusun beberapa kalimat menjadi sebuah paragraph yang memiliki makna. 4. Temukan objek berbentuk noun atau kata benda. Perhatikan kata sandang/artikel yang digunakan untuk mengawali noun tersebut, misalnya ‘a’ , 'an' , atau ‘the’
5. Temukan kata keterangan waktu
6. Mulailah menyusun kata-kata tersebut menjadi kalimat yang benar dan bermakna.

1. Tentukan kalimat pendahuluan yang menjelaskan tentang topik yang dibahas, biasanya menyebutkan nama orang/benda/hal yang akan di bahas.
2. Perhatikan konjungsi/kata hubung.
3. Untuk teks recount dan narrative, perhatikan keterangan waktu.
4. Untuk teks descriptive, report, perhatikan pengulangan kata pada kalimat berikutnya untuk menunjukkan adanya keterkaitan dengan kalimat sebelumnya.
5. Perhatikan kalimat penutup.
